yup i remember seeing that article a while back. i actually found the car at a pull-a-part not to far from me

 

What a great story. Too bad, he was too young to go.

 

Someone should have adopted that Maverick.....then again, it's only true owner was gone

 

One of the businesses should have adopted the car and kept it outside in their parking lot as a "memorial" for him...better then letting something like that go into a junk yard.

 

A sad story, i have seen it before. Too bad the old Maverick could not have been saved.

 

I put that article in Short Horns last year. Funny thing is I went to the same high school in the same time frame as him. Makes me wonder if we ever bumped into each other.

 

You have a year book maybe he's in it, just a thought. You should write something about the outcome of all this in Short Horns.
