    1977 Maverick 2 door with a rebuilt 200 6. Currently restoring the body and interior.
    I just picked up the October 2003 Hot Rod. I noticed on page 43 that they have a picture of a Mav. It's small, but hey, it's a Mav in Hot Rod! :bananaman

    I looked on hotrod.com to see if they had any more pics of it in their coverage of the Power Tour, but they didn't. :mad:

    speaking of which, a couple days ago on hot rod tv i saw a special on the dyno don maverick!!! it was so awesome, it brought a tear to my eye.:cry:

    I saw that on TV too. He said its the same as it was back when it was raced originally except for a few safety items. He said it ran mid 9's at 150-154MPH. That what it ran then and it still does. I thought that was pretty neat to see.

    Back when he raced it, it was a 4 speed. The year before last when it was at Carlisle it had an automatic in it. Thats a bit more than safty items in my book. Still, it was totally awesome when they cranked it up.
