maverick fenders

    1974 Maverick, FRPP 5.0, AOD, 3.80 equaloc
    Is a 1974 comet fender any different than a 1974 maverick fender? (except for the LDO chrome strip). I ask because I had to replace the right front fender on my mav and the best fender I can find is from a comet.

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    Only difference is the tail light panel, hood, grill, & stone guard. I believe on the big bumper cars, the front bumper is even the same but I'm not sure about that one.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Front bumper is the same on the '74 and up cars....it just sits even FARTHER out away from the car!!!
