Maverick/Comet parts swap

I found a Comet I can get as a parts car. Can anyone tell me if most of the body parts are interchangeable with a Maverick?

 

Yes. Outside of the hood, grille, rear lights and front bumper on the small bumper models, they are.

Again....it depends on the year. A 1965 Comet.......for example.....would have very little in common with our cars.

 

Again thanks. The comet I,m looking at is a 1974 I believe. Anyway it is one that looks like the Maverick and has the large bumpers.
