mav hood

    has anyone ever tryed to make the grabber hood functional as sort of a cold air intake like mustangs had in the 70's

    I had it on my Mav 20 years ago. Drilled out the scoops. Built duct work for both to a upside down air cleaner base a attached to the underside of the hood. Used a lower air cleaner base off a 66 Caddy on the carb with a few mods and foam to seal against the hood. It worked great but was a bit crude. I was a teenager when I built it though so crudes OK as long as it was cheap and fast.
