    In the 3rd to last episode of Heroes a few weeks ago there was a 4 door Maverick for sale 3 cars down from a lousy Volvo that they stole off a used car lot. Didn't catch the year and my Tivo didn't catch the episode, guess I'll have to check it out on the DVD.

    yea, I had saw that too.
    The show would have been perfect if they would have took the mav.
    The front bumper was huge, so 74+ ?

    i think that trim up the center of the grill makes it a '76

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    funny i just saw it yesterday! i was like.... "HEY a four door Maverick!"

    Yeah, I was excited when I saw it - I was hoping they would take it insteda of the Volvo, but no luck there. :rofl:

    my 76 has the trim in the middle, so you can confirm that, but mine only has one factory mirror, and i may be crazy or blind, but aren't there two on that car? making it a 77... o rmaby the 4-doors in 76 had both mirrors? :huh:

    The passenger mirror was an optional thing, they are not specific to a year. Both '76 and '77 had grills that looked like this:
