    I stopped by the hotel today and checked on the reservations...saw your's and Steve Moore's. Lots of new faces. I would say half the names were people who didn't come last year. Going to be a real good event. Y'all should plan to come!!

    I just called and at first they said they were booked. Then I mentioned the club and the said not too many left. So you better call quick if you want a room.

    When everyone gets there and Craig gives them a name tag, everyone needs to write their name plus what they go by on the MMB. I know the first year I went, I kept saying "Dennis..........Hey thats Mavaholic!" Just a thought.

    Well I made reservation for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
    Cant wait to meet everyone and see everyones cars.

    Guess this means to put me dont for the Drag Night also on Thursday night.

    Dennis mentioned something to me about a drag racing event as well. Fill me in! I probably already forgot reading it in the shorthorns as I am dang near as old as everyone else too!

    Thursday night July 24th

    Its the 1st Annual MCCI Drag Nationals!!!!!!!!!! J/K.... Craigs has a track close by that we are going to rent, it will be just for Mavericks and Comets. No one else will be at the track. Craig said you can run 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile. It is $500.oo to rent it, so however many people race, the rental fee will be split up amoungst the participants. It really should be pretty coooool watching all Mavs & Comets rip-up the track!

    Maybe I should clarify...

    I think its for all those who are attending the "round-up". People had been talking about racing other vehicles as long as they are with the club, I am not sure if Craig had ever made a decision on that?????
