so i wanna buy the m/t et streets radials the 275/60-15 ones for the rear and i see everyone having to run a 4'' spacer for them to fit, which spacer did everyone use?? arent spacers bad?? im also gonna use this as my daily driver too, not crazy driving just to school and work (30 miles max a day) would they be okay to just leave them on like that or should i just save them?? thanks:)

I'd have to think twice about using them on the street. They are over $200 apiece. I'd find some nice street tires instead. :)

No one is running a 4 foot spacer!:D

Even then, no one is running 4 inch spacer either.....

Your getting backspace mixed up with a spacer.

I am running nitto drag radials in the same size. I have 4.5" backspace with a 1/4" spacer to clear the springs. It is tight and also have clearanced the wheelwell lips to eliminate rubbing. Good luck!:)

I'm with Don on this one, I have the same tires on my mustang and they wear down QUICK. My mustang is no wear near a daily driver either, maybe a handful of times a month.

And the thing that is the most discouraging is the car is in my opinion NOT SAFE in the rain. Ya you can make it through it, and sure lots of people have done it or do it. But in an emergency situation, dont count on them.

Now as far as hooking and traction on the DRY street I LOVE THEM!

BUT for the track the are still a street radial and not as consistant as a slick.

With that being said, if you need a strip tire that sees very minimal street duty say to and from the track only, I would go with a extra set of rims and a set of ET STREETS. Put them on, drive to the track, race, drive home, and then swap rims and tires.

If you have the ability to trailer your car to the track, or just chain your street tires up to a pole just get a set of slicks on a extra set of rims.

    Your wallet will thank you:bouncy:

Oops to early in the morning, I missed this part. Whats your car combo? I'm not a fan of the BFG's but they should still hook for a moderate combo, just fine.

I have 255 BFG's on my car and they are pretty much useless for dry traction. I was considering going to something sticky but I dont want to risk myself and the car in a bad situation on the street. I have some sticky tires coming but they are going on extra rims. I know a few guys that have sticky radials and they suck for wear and wet roads. Awful expensive to burn off on the street.

Hello, nice combo. Get yourself some extra rims for the M/T. Be Fast,Be Safe. Every big money race I was in was done at the track. There is nothing like taken money from some loud jerk in front of a crowd.

Yep your def in the area of needing some good street tires than if you daily drive the car. Nice combo(y)

I have never had them but friends have seemed to have some decent luck out of the Nittos for tire wear and performance in the rain. The don't seem to stick as good as the M/T's but I think in a daily driving situation and wear life would be a better fit.

Not sure if we can (never tried or looked into it) but maybe if you can stuff a 315 nitto in the back you might get a decent amount of traction from the additional contact patch, and have the extra wear life and wet traction you need.

Not sure how it acts on the street but maybe getting a 315 alone back there in a street tire would be enough to handle the most of it. Something to look into maybe
