lisence plate light

    1963 mercury comet
    i was wondering if anyone could me tell if a 1963 comet came from the factory with a lisence plate light. i have looked all under the car and from what i can tell it does not appear that it did. any help would be appreciated thanks. :banghead:

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    I used to play with early 60's Falcons and they all had them so I'd say the Comet did too. I think all US made cars had them since plates became mandatory.

    mavaholic, thats for the input to my question. its greatly appreciated. i think i'll put one on just to be sure and legal. i can see i'm going to like this site, very friendly and helpful people here :wave:
