Has anyone out there used Lincoln Versailles front brakes and spindles on a maverick? Mine is a 70 w/ the four bolt hubs. The spindles look the same but carry different Ford part nos. than the late maverick/granada spindles. I'm afraid of geometery differences that would prevent front alignment. Thanks.

Granada and Monarch front disc brake spindles are pretty much a straight forward swap. Isn't a Lincoln Versailles simply an over bling Granada and should fit also? :hmmm:

Lower ball joint taper is larger on the Lincoln the rest is the same.Mustang Steve .com sells a tapered spacer to cure the problem.
