I've got about an 83-85 Lincoln 4-door(the one with the weird Seville type rear body). It's a fox chassis car,so I'm assuming the rear is a 7.5.Now just for a DRIVER-stock v8,c4,how hard would this be to put in.I know width would be more-thought I could use a pos. offset wheel to compensate that & use adapters on front or.....could the whole disc setup(it's 5-lug 4wheel disc car) off the 7.5 be swapped to the 8"?Or is this a waste of time to try & use?
I know that 77-80 versailles is pretty much a bolt-in swap....not sure about what you have there. Seems like you would have to relocate that spring perch??? Probably driveshaft. I am sure tires would be the least of the worries.
Yea I know the spring perches would have to be made, mavs are leaf and the lincoln is 4link like a fox mustang.I have 0 dollars in the whole lincoln, but if I go the 4 wheel disc route I think I'll do the explorer kit on the 8",or 9" if I ever get enough motor to need it.
