Hey Lance ,come back to the forum ,I MISS YOU DUDE . I personally think this argument over one maverick group and another is silly ,just politics. We all should get along here ,like family , i miss you younger bro ,in my books your a solid dude ,its time NOW to all say were SORRY . ALL that read this thread ,if you know and want Lance to come back ,speak up ,lets let Limeaid AKA ( Mavowar) know he is missed here and back ,welome back ,welcome back . cheers James Beaulieu

 

Im not sure what the hell happened, but he needs to bring his ass back here.

Ive had my disagreements with several people on here, and not to point fingers or name name, but Frank and myself have "had it out" a few times and I still respect the guy enough for his knowledge and we've been actually talking back and forth in threads.

So, everyone needs to put their differences aside and get along.
Sure we pick on each other and have our disagreements, but we can over come that.

I can not think of anyone on here whom I do not respect.

I've disagreed with people, maybe even argued with some, and once or twice I should have just kept my damn mouth shut about things I really didn't know enough to talk about. I'm ashamed of my participation in that thread in which Limeade walked out, and I very much hope my comments weren't a factor in that.

And YES I want him to come back! I think he's been a very valuable contributor to the group.


...And while I'm getting all that off my chest - Sutt, you know that whole maniacal Wal-Mart rant of mine was all good-natured fun, right?

I miss him as well.....he hangs out over on Matt's board from time to time.

 

I spoke to Lance a while back and I don't think he will be back anytime soon. Like John said he is on Matt's board from time to time.

Yes ,i know i can send him a p.m ,but the idea was to publicly let him know he is missed here by the responce in the threads that come through from folks that miss him and his imput to this forum and to the Maverick community. OK,OK .I talked to Lance for 30 min today and he explained to me the few reasons he left and he told me to not wast my time .He told me he will check every once and awhile for pm s from the few friends he has here ,but he is very sure he will never come back as a active member of any of the clubs or this forum . He told me that the personal attacks by members he would NOT say have gone to far and he is done , good bye Limeaid(Mavowar)Im sorry that the has gone this far . James Jimmy2gates

 

Jimmy. i got a chance to meet Lance in person at the gathering in Ky. He really is a great guy. I too miss him. It was always fun to read his posts. Not that I always agreed with him. But we always respected each other.

It isn't that I am not tough enough to take what was dished out, rather that I refuse to stand in the way of progress or perceived progress by some of you.....They say perception is reality......

Many of you have felt I was one of the major reasons there was rift between clubs or would not join the MCG if I was part of it. So I gave it a chance, I left. I noticed no changes or reconciliation which honestly makes me sad. While I admit there are a few choice people I absolutely loath(I'm pretty sure that's a mutual thing) I think rather fondly of the majority of you.:Handshake

I will update a few things for you all. I did pick a different power plant for my car. I purchased a 4.6l 32 valve motor all aluminum to build. It may be a while since these motors are not cheap to build on a high performance level. I want at least 450hp NA and 600hp with the NOS. Still making a road racer out of it. I am building a 3link rear suspension with watts linkage and if there is enough room left over a fat sway bar to boot.

On a personal level. I feel great. My life is going great.

Again not looking to jump back in. I just felt like I needed to clear the air a tad.....
