Do we have an Arizona State Rep?
If not, maybe you can be it, if you are a member of MCCI.

Pres., Vice Pres. etc. need to be contacted for info.

Why do you need to join a club? Can't you just be a Maverick?

    Sam :)

I second Seth - may as well work within a great group like the MCCI that is ever expanding - instead of creating a splinter group.

I think all the CA people should have more mini meets. Just offhand, there are probably at least 10 regular posters on here from CA.

Joining the MCCI is a good idea. I have not as of yet but I will join when I goto the nationals. I like having a local car club since you can be more spontaneous as to which shows in the area you can attend. I am part of Midwest Mavericks
local to cincinnati/northern kentucky. There is only 4 members and the other 2 guys are not interested in the MCCI as a National club is not thier gig. Personally I like the idea of both. FWIW I begged the other 2 mavericks to goto this roundup but they just are not interested. They do like cruising locally though Supposed to go out this Satarday with 2 members. Have fun whatever you do. Keep on Mavericking:D

Here in Washington, we get together for at least 3 car shows a year. It's nice to represent the MCCI....Plus, we get together at other times just to eat pizza or talk Mavericks & Comets. We even make it to the All Ford Drags (when it doesn't rain). Everyone is so friendly, just like on this board. Always willing to help one another out. IMO

simon, my only problem is i race 2 to 3 weekends a month and its a long way from arizona city to either phoenix or tucson to do anything. usually i spend the time i have off with the wife and grandkids, doing what they want. gotta keep them happy. that's the reason i never volunteered to be the state rep for the mcci. i also belong to central az speed and custom in casa grande. :)

Arizona does not have a state rep at the moment. By becomimg a member and state rep, you can organize mini-meets with other memebrs from your state. There probably are memebrs in Arizona who are not memebers of this forum and would like to attend a Maverick mini meet if one was held. Please take a look at the MCCI homepage for more info. http://www.maverickcometclub.org/

California has two state reps, Maverickman and Corbin Johnson. Ask them if they have any plans for mini meets this year.
