Laps For Charity I 2007 at TMS - 5/12/07

Laps for Charity is a chance for you, the enthusiast, to drive your car on the banks and straightaways of Texas Motor Speedway! (North of Fort Worth, Texas) Cost of admission is $30.

This year (and as a result of successful showing of grouped car clubs last year, including quite possibly the first gathering of 12 Ford GTs that attended), car clubs will be allowed on the track FIRST! That's right, no long wait time!

We have been asked to be at the track NO LATER THAN 4:30pm - car clubs from around the D/FW area will be the only ones on the track from 5pm to 7pm - after that, the general public will be allowed to drive on the track.

I take great pride in knowing that this is for a good cause that I stand behind - I have been attending this event since the very first one, and will continue to do so into the future.

**FIRST TIME ATTENDEES - we will need you to be in your own dedicated group to familiarize yourself with the track and speed at which you will be travelling**

I will post up a meeting location prior for a small cruise to the track staging area - bring your cameras and prepare for fun!

It would be great to assemble some Mavericks/Comets for this event! This is like a rolling car show, with plenty of other makes from various years in attendance.
