Hi everyone! Looks like a will be driving my Grabber down to attend the Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knotts Berry Farm again this year. This is a 2500mile+ trip for me and I would like to not make the entire trip by myself(much more fun to travel with others). If anyone would like to join up for the trek(at any point)..or just meet to say “Hi” along the way…I would be most greatful! The show is booked for April 22, 2007 so there still is plenty of time to decide…or make plans. After the show I will be staying and checking out the sights in the area until the following Friday. Last year was a blast...great people way down there! I really hope to see more Mav/Comet people again this year and I really look forward to see everyone I met once again. Again…I would welcome anyone who would like to make the trip(more fun in a group, eh!) …and you can drive anything you like. Please let me know what you think!

I will have both my car and Tammy's there, although I may not have a complete interior. It's only a 120 mile trek for us :)

I am pretty sure I will be there... whether it is with my car or not!!

I should be getting my car back from the paint shop around the end of the month... so it all depends on how long i take to get it back together!

Wish I could make it this year. Changing jobs last year put a damper on the trip this year. With this job, I get no paid vacation. In process of looking for a better job. At least this one pays the bills, for now. I had a blast last year also. Wish I could do it again. Maybe next year. Stop on your way down Cliff. You have some items here, to be picked up anyway.

Once I get one...I will send it in the next day! I'm really hoping to get more cars out to this show..come'on..lets make this a good one!

I guess I better kick it into high gear if I want to drive my car to it :D (clutch, brakes, and wiring)

Meet up in SF East Bay

    Cliff,

I probably won't be driving all the way down to Knotts with you, but as we agreed on Frapr, I can meet you for lunch or coffee on the way. Maybe we can get a group from SF, San Jose, Sacramento and Reno to meet at one of the wineries in Livermore (or not a good idea when we are driving?), or in Tracy or Manteca?

Or we could drive up Mt. Diablo, which I've never done even though it's 10 only minutes away from me, or visit the Blackhawk Classic Car Museum. These are a little more out of your way, but worth taking a break for.

    Roz

Hi Roz..good to hear from you! I'm not really familier with the area at all(only been that way once)...but I am planning to stop for the night around Fresno on Friday. I'm not to sure where abouts you are..but we could grab a bite and perhaps meet up with whoever else wants too someplace between where you are and Fresno. Actually Manteca sound cool...and I'm planning to switch from the 5 to the 99 at Stockton, which would work out great! Maybe we could meet along the highway and caravan to Manteca...or Tracey..whichever you feel is best! This should be a lot of fun! See if you can get anyone else to meet up too...

Wow Rosalindr, where do you live? I grew up in Antioch and seeing you bring up Mt. Diablo brought back memories. Antioch is right at the base, but I guess you know that. I left in Dec. 1980, I've been back once, around 1989, didn't recognize much, can't imagine what it would look like now.
