You know, it's all too common to hear what we do wrong than what we do right. With the cruise season coming to a slow close for '04, I just wanted to thank everyone that made an effort toward having some sort of a meet this season. I realize that whether it's planning a larger meet such as the ones at the FFW events or something more informal like Dave Moore's picnic, it takes time and effort and sometimes aggrivation. We have busy lives and many of us work long and trying hours just to make ends meet. To make the time to participate in our common love is a testimonial of just the kind of people that make up our ranks here. To those of you that weren't able to plan a meet, but participated, this goes out to you also because without participation, a meet isn't a meet. It's because of all of you that our ranks are growing and I do believe that we are a closer bunch than ever before. To John Ford and his Kentucky contingent, thanks for taking the time and effort to make us a new and improved Roundup for next year. You guys have tough shoes to fill with Craig's efforts as a foundation.

I'm sure proud to be associated with all of you and look forward to working with all the reps on next season's events.(y)

Thanks Wes.......I agree, very big shoes to fill......Craig has done and is still doing a GREAT job in promoting our club and our cars!
Round-up 2005 promises to be bigger and better.......but that is ONLY if the members participate. This is a great club with great leaders and GREAT members........but without member's getting involved.....its nothing.

Great points being made. It is OUR hobby. What WE do with it is ultimately what WE get out of it. Daves picnic was the first Mav meet I made it to. I had a great time and looking forward to bring the badmav and the new mav to 2005 round up. Never made Craigs efforts but wished I had now. Props to Craig for being a true leader in the maverick community. Also to John for taking on the enormous task of making the 2005 round up a success for all. I for one can't wait :bananaman

I hosted the meet in Virginia and except for the rain and a few other bummers ( lost keys, broken rear ends)it turned out great and i would like to thank Wes, Earl Branham .Dennis Terry and all who came . Maybe we will have a better year in 2005.
    Later Tim
