.... and the end result is the rear sits 1/2 higher than the front .... Measuring from the rocker the front is 9" off the ground and the rear is 9 1/2 " .... So other others have said ... the JC Whitney springs are definitely stock ride height and don't jack up the rear like ESPO and others ...
Are you running same size tires all the way around? Also did your rear shackle bushings fit the spring eye correctly?
Same size tires all around ... Both the shackle and bushings were identical to the ones I removed when held side by side ... I got the shackle and bushing kit from ESPO.
LOL ... I need the cement bags in the engine compartment ... not the trunk .... I think one of these days I'll take 1/2 a coil off the front ...
Just run around on a quarter tank of diesel. Good info. And you got free shipping too correct? Total?
Just went for a cruise up to Wendy's .... It defintely handles better with the HD 4-leafs .. no rolling around corners. I also notice that in the parking lot the car holds it's stance better even though the parking lot was not level ...
I could jump up 'n down on front end for a few minutes. That should lower it the equivalent of 1/2 coil or more.
I really like the feel of my new 4-leafs...I just wish I could get the ride height leveled out, but it seems to be error in the front of the car causing the lean (might work on that today...). It has a much firmer, sportier, holds-the-corners feel, like my old 4-wheel independent suspension Z-car!
