*** FINALLY ***.... it squeaked over 10 degrees today so I race downstairs and yanked out the compressor and all the painting gak I've been staring at vacantly for the last 3 months and STARTED PAINTING again before another snowstorm hits us...

sheesh... besides all the April Fools jokes... it wasn't funny having to drive through SNOW again earlier this week...

but as promised it was nice & sunny today... so I painted the rims to test out the $20 paint process (a $10 air gun, $5 in primer, $5 in marine enamel). Low odour and the "air leak" design of the paint gun allowed me to "blow off" the little bugs as I painted. First two coats look clean... so next week I'll re-sand and finish...

LONG WEEKEND: ...lots of time to paint, drink beer, and eat Easter Bunny. :rednose:

I should stick the rest of this rant under my "car projects" page...
