Is there some intermediate bracket between 5.0 serpentine A/C bracket and P/S pump?

I have the P/S pump, and can't figure out how it attaches to the brackets.

    Here is what I have...

Google "5.0l Mustang power steering pump bracket" and look at the images, it'll give you some idea what it looks like.

OK, I see it now. I always assumed I was looking at the actual pump in those pictures, and thought I was cool getting a smaller pump!

    Ebay, here I come!!!

They are both serpentine, the first one is the early 86-93 style, the second appears to be the 94-95 bracket.

So, either would work for me?

I have been buying steering parts for a 95 mustang GT...

You need to match the components. If you currently use the early arrangement, you'll need the early PS bracket. The later components use a shorter water pump, crank pulley, etc for that move the belt closer to the engine block but use different accessories. ie: FS-10 or FX-15 compressor, 3G alternator and the smaller PS pump.

In short, based on your pic, I think you need the first bracket

OK, got the round bracket today, pump fits in it, but it doesn't quite fit the other brackets. I can make it, and will have to, I guess.

It appears that I will have to make two 1/2" long spacers to go between the existing bracket and the face of the round one, and grind off just a touch of the aluminum to make it fit.

It appears that if I slide it back flush against the engine block that the pulleys will line up.
