is my tank the original one?

    ok... so here is what i have:

    I'm asking because of the giant hole that you can see on the picture below

    and how do I change the kind of rubber here? (this one is really old and don't really stop the smell of gaz, especially when i'm filling up the tank)
    can I buy it somewhere or is it "home-made"?

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    looks like someone tried to re-locate the tank (center it) for dual exhaust.The grommett is available from several mustang sources.I think Autokrafters has it as well.

    Yeah. It has dual exhaust now. I didn't know you had to recenter it for that.
