I have been on this forum for a couple of days now but never introduced myself. I live in Lethbridge Alberta ,and over the last few years i have been known to get odd cars . EI( 1965 mersedes 230s ,1952 austin of england, 1962 checker farm and ranch wagon, 1972 porsche 914 )to name a few. When i bought the Maverick i thought I finally bought a normal car. Little did I know that people up here only like Mustang and Camaro's . So lets get to the good stuff. My Maverick is a 1969 1/2 Maverick grabber clone. It has a rollerised 302 with Edelbrock air gap intake, headman headers with 3" 50 series delta flow flow masters, patronix ignition, and many other goodies on the motor. The trans is a C4 with a stage two shift kit. Here is were it get crazy for a street car the dif is a ford 9" with 4:56 gears and cal tracks. This thing brings a hole new meaning to grabber, up here anyway. There were lots of people like the dif but knot the rest of the car when i was building it but now that it is done boy does it turn some head. I just finish getting the grabber stripe installed boy what a difference. I never in my wildest dreams did i ever think i would own a car this nice. Look forward to here from some of you. When i figure out how to post pics i'll put some on.
Welcome! Sounds like you have a nice car on your hands. Also sounds like when it comes to cars you have been a Maverick for a while.
