ok im looking to put new fabric on the door panels on the interior of my car....i was just gonna take off the old fabric....buy like black vinal sheet and glue it on...but if i did that then i wouldnt have the stitch pattern ...would that still look good? or if not is there and easy way to do the stitching?...
An upholsterer should be able to duplicae your stitch pattern using a thin layer of foam as a backing. a quarter inch of cloth back foam should work fine or thinner if you can find it. PWE
