72 maverick. The front end is finally fixed!
I have a 75 maverick that I want to use for parts on my 72. I'm not sure what the difference is. The styles are a little different. Like I have the sport bumper and the 75 has the big bumper, are the bumper fillers the same? Also, will the core support from the 75 work in the 72? I have lots more questions, but I'll start with those. :p

The core support should be the same, bumper stuff is not.

While the early bumpers certainly look more sporty than the late bumpers, they are not called sport bumpers. We just refer to them as small bumper/big bumper. Except for the poor 73 models, which have a front bumper that is larger than the small bumper but smaller than the big bumper, so they get called all sorts of things. :D

Of course, that is just majority opinion on which look better. There are plenty of big bumper fans. My 77 just wouldn't have been the same car with small bumpers on it, but I definitely like the small bumpers better.
