Intake manifold fit?

    does anybody know if a edelbrock rpm or weiand stealth fit under the hood on a 70 maverick with a 302?

    thanks for the info. Is that with out cutting a hole in the hood?

    i have a performer 289 intake on my 69.5 mav with a 1 inch spacer plate with a edelbrock carb and i just put a holley carb on it and it fits just fine

    No hole...there's guys running air gaps with the stock hood.

    that was like my setup:

    289 intake
    1" specter open/4 hole spacer
    Holley 4160
    KNN 14 x 3.75" air cleaner.

    under the stock hood.

    I am using a Stealth, and it fits well with a 3" air cleaner, no problems.

    Thanks for the info, i am going to go with the stealth or the rpm. I just put the motor in this past weekend. getting close to getting it running. 302 with 70 351 heads.
