    Rick,

Do they use Crosstalk at the track you run at?

    Later,

Tom I've never heard the term "crosstalk" so I'm not sure, you could probably do a better job of explaining the crossover to Dennis, it would probaly take me 3 pages and be half right.

only electronics cars use crosstalk. this allows you, the faster car, to leave on the first yellow. this gives you a clean light without the distractions of the other lights or the other car leaving. both cars 1st yellow come on at the same time, then the second yellow for the faster car, comes on, with the time difference between the 1st and 2nd lights. the slower cars lights come down normally. theoretically, this allows you to hit your lights more consistently. hopefully i didn't confuse the issue even more.:)

The "crosstalk" is all greek to me. I've been cutting slow rt's when I'm running against a slower car, supposedly by putting both cars dial ins in the crossover box this will allow me to run off the slower cars light, ignoring mine and theoretically being less confusing. I'm assuming on the big end it will stutter the engine if it looks like the cars gonna breakout?
Against a faster car you just leave on your light like normal.
We are gonna jet the carb down again today and see if we can get it settled down.
I can anticipate a hundreth between rounds it's the 2-3 hundreths thats hurting me.

I actually won a race last night:yup: It was against a slower car so I used the crossover box, put both cars dial ins in the box and let off the transbrake on his light, we cut identical lights...518's, I ran a 5.93 with a 5 on a 5.93 dial.
Then everything went to hell in a handbasket, ran identical 5.95's on 5.93 dial ins and lost both races and I have no idea what caused the the slower times.

The crossover box will not keep a car from breaking out, it is only used against a slower car, all it does is factor in both cars tree times and then delays the transbrake that much longer, hence the term crossover-delay box.
