    Has anybody used the protronix electronic ignition conversion in their car? I have a mallory unilite distributor that i was going to put in my car but buddy of mine said a protronix ignition would be better. What do you guys think?

    I installed one just this past June so I don't know it's life expectancy. It triggers my Mallory HyFire VI A box. So far so good.

    Ooops. I hope you meant Pertronix. Anyway, I have heard of the LED's in Unilites going bad and leaving people stranded. Don't know how hard they are to replace if you carry a spare.
