    I am having a 347 built for my mav and need a good ignition setup to go with it. I have a $500 budget but I dont want to spend money on things I really dont need. Any suggestions? Ignition box? No ignition box? Distributor? Please help! Oh and links to Summit or Jegs would be extra helpful!

    I'm still looking around myself, but I found a shop here in the Springs called Ace's, seems like an honest place.

    Whats the compression ratio??
    How big is the cam??
    Is it going to require high octane fuel???
    These factors will help decide what sort of ignition system you need...
    Will you be running a power adder?? Boost/Nitrous???

    Not sure the compression or cam yet, but it will run on standard pump gas, and no boost/nitrous.

    X2...just stay below 6500 rpm most of the time and you'll be good
