Let me know if I am so lost on this idea, buy a crash car with parts in good shape, this parts use for update my mav, ... some parts, well i think find into the crash car the engine with fuel inyection, disc brakes, seats, car computer, and anothers parts, of course depends of many modifications in the mav, but i have a technician (mechanical) very good, i know that he can do it. I think go for a late mustang for donor. but, well, the true is that i dont have experience in mechanical stuffs, know the basic, just that, but, car computers, modifications, mmm, no, and well, always came here, because i know that there are many that walk,walked or walking for similars ways (roads) and always find better perspectives of these things, better ideas, and regularly give a way to follow, so i want to know, what car will be the best donor for my mav, or what so lost am i??? For give you an idea, the crash cars are those car that insurance agencies catalog by total lost. I appreciate by advance all your opinions, just please, answers if you have any experience about it or if am so lost in this idea, if you have answers that give more sense at the idea, well, just answer, jeje, please, im listening, thanx u. there are a number of people on here that have done this. they can tell you what problems they had and what they had to do to fix it. if you have a good mechanic they also need to know how to transfer all the computer stuff from the donor car. if you can get everything from one donor car it would be helpful as you would know it was all compatible. goodluck.
