I have an idea about creating a maverick/comet repair website. This website would have no forum. It would only have a alphabetical index. I would basically put online all repairs with digital photographs. Step-by-step process. Time estimate. Tools required to do the job. I think if we all pooled our experience with cars we could have a definitive resource website. I will be getting a computer soon(I'm at the library right now). I will set-up an e-mail account. I ask anybody with specialized information or experience write how-to articles. I will first set-up the domain name with an email adress and a under construction sign. Then hopefully in less than one year I will put the site up. If it works out I ask for a paypal donation of 1.00US dollar a year for anyone who references it. The money will be acummulated and posted and used to run the site and save Mavericks from the crusher. Tell me what you think of this idea.
Richard, Tracy Norris has already started a similar project, which you can read about here: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=3502. Tracy estimated that his website would exceed 30gigs of space, due to the printer friendly .pdf files. If you need hosting, check out http://cybermaverick.net (I run that site as well)
