    is it just me or did that car look like it had a wider front end than the one's I've seen ('73-77)? I actually dropped a bare 460 block down into our '75 over the winter, and without heads, the block almost hit each shock tower on each side. I couldnt imagine it with heads on it, much less how to run the headers! I'd be interested to see how they got that one to fit!

    I was taken back by that also. My car is STILL going through the shock tower mod just to get a 351 in it!

    I wonder is the entire shock towers were moved forward (have to go back and look now).

    That's a 460 in it. Shock towers have been moditied for the roll cage and engine. Narrow rearend makes the front end look like it's sticky out further then stock.
    If you compare Stang & MAv shock towers you'll see that Mav towers stick into the engine bay more. So you could actually remove them and cut them back toward the fenders more for engine room.
