It's not what you think. I have been working on getting a 1964 falcon wagon on the road for 2 1/2 years and I've kinda gotten burned out on the project. I also miss driving my old 1977 4 door i had as my daily driver. There is a guy that lives a few miles from my house that has a 1971 4 door maverick that my brother almost bought about 8 months ago. But he really wanted a 2 door and now has himself a 1975 grabber. So I think the falcon is getting booted and I'm going to go get the maverick. Luckily I know a guy that really wants my falcon so it should work out really nicely. So here is the original thread on the 1971 maverick. I hate to see you give up on the Falcon wagon project being I have one and I love it but then I do have a Maverick also so I can see how you can be torn between which you want most
well today i want to keep it i can not make up my mind i think i'm just going to keep putting it together and see where i get. i got an automatic floor shifter from a 1972 mustang today to take care shifting the c4. my neighbor has a 289 that i'm going to buy from him for 50 bucks and throw that in the falcon. as soon as i get the falcon on the road or sold i'm starting on my comet. i really miss driving that car.
