    haven't done that mod but have replaced the O ring. not a bad job.
    did you read all the replys to that thread?

    caution...when breaking the nut loose, hold the leaver, don't let it bottom out on the case.

    I replaced the o-ring, and if I recall correctly, there was another seal that I had to swap from inside. Did not affect the leak at all. That was when i started searching the internet and found this with all the drawings and pictures.

    Makes sense, if it is correct.
