...and of course, the models from his website were in the dream also :D

Seriously, though, I dreamed that I came across this shop, walked in, found that it was his place, introduced myself, and asked if he could make a custom grill in Carbon Fiber...

He just HAPPENED to have one half finished, it looked awesome!

Kinda a cross between the original maverick grill and those new billet grills on the Tahoes. You know how dreams are...the grill never looked the same both times, and kinda changed from dream-scene to dream-scene. It looked great all the way through.

Anyway, I want a better grill than the plastic ones I have now. Anyone know wherer I can get something a little more sturdy, shiny, and more "original"? Maybe in billet or carbon fiber?

Maverick Man...would you be interested, or is this even a possibility due to all the holes and grooves?

Of course, my point wasn't to share any fantasies, but to find a nicer grill... :D

    That post sounds better than...

    "I need a new grill."

Yeah, I know...I've been looking at them too. I'd like to get something a little different also.

I am glad some of you guys could get past the humorous introduction and get to the meat of the matter...a new/different grill

Actually, I really DID have a dream about driving to some unspecified shop and having all kinds of carbon fiber stuff laying around. I did dream about having a really cool looking grill made up.

I DID NOT dream about Maverick Man, but figured that if I never said one way or another who the guy was, you would all assume it was our Carbon Fiber Master, Maverick Man, anyway, so, I added that part to the "dream" just to make it interesting :bs:

Honestly, I wouldn't mind something more pontiac or mopar looking, or even just more ribs, either horizontal or vertical. Those new tahoes with the billet grill with just a bunch of holes...that would be neat. Just something shiny, stronger (no more broken tabs  ), and a little different, but not obnoxiously different (like those spinner rims:yikes: )

I can remember 30 years ago J.C. Whitney selling Maverick grills that had horizontal chromed metal ribs. I don't think they had provisions for grill lights, they were plain like on a 70.

I like the looks of those Brazilian ones that are small vertical boxes, maybe we should try and get those guys to send us some stuff?
