For those that may have wondered, I made my trip to Springfeild and brought home my new tranny. Got it home and painted and in the car on Tuesday. Had alot going so I didn't have a chance to see if it shifted.............Well today I tied up my loose ends and fired it up and to my surprise it went through all the gear just like it I had hoped. The road test will have to wait, running alittle short on cash and I will have to wait to get the exhaust done for a week or so. But it won't be long now I also should have my gauges all mounted up and wired in the next week or so, I will post some pics of my new creations Thanks for gettting that built for me Robert, you saved my a ton, just let me know if there is ever anything that I can do for you in return...exept a CLEAR right lens
Neal, great to hear you got your new tranny in your Maverick, I bet you are dying to get it on the road! Let us know how you make out on those gauges.
Good deal! Hey Robert is there any advice you can give so I can pass it along to the guy who "tried" to rebuild it?
Give me a few Weeks John.....I actually built the unit out of my car and just tradded out with neal when he came down....but I am sure the the problem in neals old unit lies in the valve body.
