Hello i have made around 350 miles on my comet since i passed my inspection. I used the stock setup with my toploader but two day ago the plastic bushing on the frame side broke on the road. I dont know if because my installation was not right but this setup didnt last long. Since i dont live close to big city i dont have acces to lots of part and i must wait at least 2-3 weak to receive this bushing from the US.

I didnt find much info about hydraulic and toploader but i checked the room near the clutch fork and i think i could install a bracket on the bellhousing for the slave cylinder. I would like to know if the toploader need the same travel to disengage as the T5.

The guys who swap 5L and T5 on there ranger seem to use 3/4'' 89 ranger master cylinder and 81 nissan 280zx slave cylinder. I found this pdf the guys used ranger and mazda part.

I already the hydraulic setup of 94 accord the master cylinder is 5/8 and slave cylinder is 3/4 i wondering if this setup could work.

I ran a Toploader for years with a McCleod hydro throwout bearing. Not cheap, but once I worked the bugs out, it was very reliable. I used it with a late model Mustang flywheel (157 tooth, 10.5 clutch) and Centerforce dual friction clutch and pressure plate
