How to repair and protect this Grabber hood?

    Any advice on how to clean up, repair and conserve this Grabber hood? It is worth it, isn't it? The top side of it looks very clean. John B

    It looks like it is not too far gone .......... I would strip it with a blaster and then see what was left to work with.

    Getting harder and harder to find them ........ :thumbs2:

    I cleaned the inside of my flat hood with a wire wheel in a drill. It came out good but what it exposed was at the bottom of some of those "puddles" of surface rust where little areas where the rust had just broken through to the outside surface. :mad:

    That prompted me to find a better flat hood which was easy to find - Grabber hood not so easy. :huh:
