My 70 grabber has the little flip-open console in it. I always thought they put clocks in them, but mine has a little plastic badge on it with the maverick steerhead on it.

Although I don't want to sell it, I was wondering if you guys could tell me how rare these are? I nor my 49 y.o. father (who owned 4 mavericks) have ever seen one of these consoles before.

    Thanks.

Do you have a picture for us that don't know what it looks like?

    Sounds interesting.

    Thanks,

Oh yeah, I believe that they were avaliable from 70 to early 73. This makes them very rare, also the fact that they were not a very popular or common option. If fact, most people don't know about them. I didn't either until a few years ago. Hope this helps you.

P.S. The clock was also an option within the consolette.

Thats mine, minus the clock. I'll try to get a pic of mine tomorrow, when the sun is out.

I have one without the clock. It was in a 72 Grabber that was found in a junk yard back in the late 70's Russ
