How hard to put 73 rear bumper on a 74?

    are the 73 and 74 rear bumpers different? if so how hartd to put a 73 on a 74 Comet?

    Their different, and depending upon your skill level, it could be hard or real easy, search for Bumper Swap.

    Thanks, I found it. I just didn't remember ever seeing a post talking about 73 in particular most everyone swaps down to 70-72.

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    About the only difference between the 73 and earlier ones, is the 73 has much beefier mounts and stick out a little further. The bumper itself is the same. The 73 also has little filler panels that bolt to the bottom of the quarters but they are not really necessary.

    The filler panel can easily be trimmed to fit a '73 bumper....
