Hello all! I'm new here and just thought I'd announce my arrival I don't really have a maverick/comet myself, but I've been looking for a couple of years now (I live in "the awesome country of Norway, and these cars in perticular are pretty rare.. not to mension exspensive aswell =/ but so are most cars are up here i guess..) I've actually come over a couple though, a '70 Maverick at 25.000 NOK(Around $4500, which is a bargain around here so it basically went before i could pick up the phone). And i actually came over my dad's old car, a real special one with a Comet front and Maverick back end(registered as a '70 Maverick actually, don't know what it really was). It had a Cougar 302 with around 400hp, cougar tail lights(from a 68 i think), and was priced at 45.000NOK, aprox $7800.. also a real bargain here. I've always loved that car (wasn't too old when it got sold though), and my dad ofcourse was devastated when he had to sell it, because he then had 3 cars, which was one too many back then.. The car looked kind of shabby and needed some work, but still got sold after a day or so =/ Anyways, came over a '74 comet with a 250 cui in Sweden yesterday, *fingers crossed* Whew.. Guess that was something like my entire life story, should be kinda annoying/exhausting to read all of it, so I'll conclude what i was writing before it all got "out of hand" Basically, all i had to say was Greetings "Mavaholics" =)
