Longtime maverick owner and proud. Ive got a 73 grabber. A little about the car, my dad and i 16 at the time went out to california, being from minnesota, to look at a nice grabber an older lady had since new and finally upgraded to a new car. she drove it from work to home its entire life and kept strict maintenance records on it. fell in love with the car and drove it all the way back home to mn. Car ran very well but burned 3 quarts on the way home out of the 302. ill never forget that trip one of the best times dad and i ever spent together. I was in high school shop class and rebuilt the engine during class. so far ive enjoyed almost 100, 000 miles on it since that rebuild 10 years ago!! and is still going strong. Ive had many different configurations on the engine from N/A to Superchargering but got back to basics recent with an efi kit and its nice. The mavs paint is not original anymore but its 67 candy apple red and its got the 72 grabber hood with all the black stripping. Interior is all original with buckets. The maverick has been such a good car to me and everyone ive met over the years has loved it too, Ive had hours of conversation with people on the car and that's just going to the grocery store. But ive already typed to much so..... Ive been coming to the forums for a long time and should have joined years ago but finally pulled the trigger. look forward to all the advice and info this great site has to offer. cya all around soon. Joe
