I know I want nitto 555 tires. My question is does anybody know of a company that makes or could make 69/70 shelby rims in 17" or 18"? I'm not sure how wide I want them yet. I am trying to do a pro touring Comet GT one off replica of the Europa GT250. :bananaman That car is great. (y) I know everything I want on the car and those rims would set it off. MY one off I would be called A Europa GT500. It would be what would happen if they had built more than 1 prototype of the gt250 and the second one had turbos.

Any company that has CNC machines can probably make them, like Boyd Coddington. The problem might be, "will they". I dont know what kind of Trademarks would be involved on Shelby stuff. Not to mention the cost if you could get them to do it.

No one is making the Shelby style rims in any size other than the org. sizes.Dante Design makes a Mach 1 (260 series) in the sizes you are looking for that will bolt on w/o spacers.I would not recomend anything larger than 17x8.Check out Mustang&Fords (wheel guide)Aug.04 issue for pic.of wheel.

The Magnum 500 wheel is probably the only wheel that you can buy
    above 15 inches.
To copy the Europa GT250, I would look at the American Racing wheels-
original Torque Thrust or Torque Thrust D's. They may not be available
above 15 inches in some styles. The Vintage Wheelworks Co. makes
a wheel with the look of Torque Thrust D's with 16 and I believe 17 in.
    sizing.
Do a google for them. I think they are Vintage 45's. Mustang & Fords Mag.
writes about them all the time.
