What do you mean the tag was brushed off? If it's a '69.5, it should be riveted to the inside of the drivers side door. The numbers are stamped into it. Without those numbers, you will have to order a 999 history report from Ford to figgure out what color it was originally. What's your VIN?

To all right now i dont have the vin right now avalible in this week im going to put the vin number so you can help me with my little problem.yes the tag was riveted to the car but it was in the driver door i own this car since i was 16 i didnt now about the value of tag until now. i change the drivers door,i had the old one but my sister trow the door and other parts to the junk yard and i didnt now.Until now .Please stand by for my vin number.Thank you fo you help.
