Greetings from Pgh! I have been glancing at your site from time to time and decided today to sign up. I have a 1976 Mecury Comet 4-door (sorry, I am not worthy!) with just under 20K original miles. It was given to me by an elderly neighbor whom I looked out for for a few years. It was garage kept up until about two winters ago but since is stored outside covered up. My son and I drive it occasionally, he as of late to get his butt to football practice for high school......he gets a lot of positive comments from his friends and an owner of their pizza shop hangout....even though it is a four door! My son's only complaint is the only choice is AM radio! Tough life these kids have! Paint is all original and the body is in good shape with some minor rust on the body, a few minor dents from where my elderly neighbor did not quite judge the edge of the garage quite right and some rust pitting on the chrome....but other than that in tip top shape. I get it out on the highway from time to time and I am over 70 before I realize it. That's about all for now.....
welcome my bro also picked one up a few weeks ago...so far i put about 900 into it ontop of what he paid...and it still needs an exhaust to pass inspection
