Heater box, A/C drain tube broken off.

I'm working on my brothers 71 Comet with factor A/C. His heater box drain tube snout is broken off the box. Someone before us tried to fix it with what looks like JB weld. It didn't hold...

How can I replace the drain tube snout, I mean what can use in place of it?
I know others here have fixed this problem before. What did you use?

i used a peice of copper then fiberglassed it in place
