    how much of a difference in sound is there when it comes to Long tube vs. short tube?

    and they'll be on a stock 302 :)

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Personally...I think long tubes have a deeper/mellower sound than shorties.Shorties seem to be a bit raspy tone wise.

    I think a long tube would be louder but i dont know,i perfer long tubes though because it makes exhust's easier.
