I need to moved my leaf springs over 1 inch. I need more clearance for my rear tires. Some please help me? No more than 1.5 inches on each side will do. Thanks:huh:

If you are a good fabricator and welder it is not hard to do. Keep in mind if you are moving them inward that far you will probably run into wheel tub issues. I have yet to do this to a Mav, but have it planned for my 71 restomod.

Thanks Dan, I don't know the first thing about welding. I have been working on this for a few weeks & I have not came up with anything yet but air ride suspension in the back. But I will have to come up with a 4 link system. Do you know where I can get one by any chance? I just love running into these problems.

I am not aware of any 4 link systems at all. But, I am sure one of the drag racers here can advise you on that.

If you are going to go with a four-link, then ditch the leaf springs and go with coil-overs. The person who installs your four-link can do the coil over install. JMO.

After working on one of my other vehicles I have decided to toss the leaf springs and go with a trailing arm setup. Will make a natural to go with air bags too.
