the guy i bought the maverick from called me the other day and said that i forgot some parts at his house so i went over to find out what he was talking about. and he gave me a set of 14x7 origonal mag 500 rims and they have the little maverick emblem in the middle. but one of the rims has a little dent near the top of the rim is the anything i can do about this?

    fix-em

If you check around some of the tire shops in your area, they should know of a co. that can fix that rim. I had checked a few years back, and it seems the cost was $50 or so to fix a bent rim (a big bent...pothole....wife....chromed alum....) so it should be realitively inexpensive to keep it orig. post pics...Robert:cool:

    p.s.

If it is really small and doesn't break the bead or affect the handling, and not a show car, leave it and then you will have your first dent and not worry about getting the 1st one....;)

Any tire store should be able to fix it. I have taken really bent rims to a tire store, and they straighten them with no problems. How did they do it? They placed the wheel on the floor under a "car lift". They then lowered the lift down on the wheel and used the lift/floor as a "clamp" to hold the wheel. They then took a long piece of pipe with a slit cut in it and pryed on the bent area to fix it.
