guess i have to wash the maverick now

    just got a call from the track announcer from southwestern international raceway in tucson asking me if i would bring the maverick to chuy's mexican restaurant, on first ave, in tucson on sep. 24th. seems they are doing a new radio show called "speed zone" on a local station 1330 am at 12 noon and want a couple of cars to represent the drag strip. i guess it will be me with my maverick, a corvette, that has 2 4's sticking out of the hood and a couple of drag bikes. should be interesting. wonder if they pay mileage as i have to tow about 60 miles to do it. oh well, it does have mcci decals on it.:)
