The Gt 40 heads have the exhaust ports in the stock location, correct? Therefore we can use most headers for this application. The GT40P have the odd spark plug header issue, correct?

Yes, you are correct. The GT40P flows the most cfm of the two but the spark plugs are a major pain in the you know what. There is a couple of companys that sell headers for the "p"'s to work on our cars.

There are a couple of recent threads regarding this. I recently purchased a set and ported the exhaust (the weak, constricting side), then had a hurricane and a job in Guam for 2 weeks interfering with installation.

The heads look good, almost like a hemi, with the plugs almost right in the middle between the valves, but those plugs are angled right into header tubes. Check out the threads, I posted a couple of pictures to clearly show the plug issue.

Keep an eye on the forum. I will weld some plates on my shock towers (hopefully this weekend) then install the heads, headers, and Torker 289 intake and post improvements on here soon.

scooper, found the thread. I noticed in that thread that someone indicated that the windsor juniors have the same problem. It this true?
