The Maverick finally went 10.98 (1/8) after a bunch of 11.0's, took it home, and pulled the motor out to put in the late model roller 302. I've had several 302 Mav's, but this one was my first Maverick I bought in 1981. The six is going to good use in my (I mean my daughter's) 75 Comet, it's an almost perfect 61,000 mile car that had 2 rods out the side. I bought Hooker 6901 (thanks to the guys that recommended them) a TCI 50oz flywheel ($59.00) and it looks great, hammer tone painted. Now if I could just use my E303 cam in a 86 T-Bird short block (some say it'll work, some say no) and I have some E7TE heads that I've done a little port work on. Like I needed another Hot Rod, but I have a race car, it's just not a street car anymore, so the Grabber will finally get some horespower!
